Deal with the devil :Chapter 1

OMG another hard piece is done!

I promise to write a fanfic, so... here we go...

Let's begin with our dark hero's story... Rao!

Long, long ago, on a distant planet that no human had ever seen, where the rulers were powerful, magical creatures known as Pokemon…

In a magical, dark forest, the small Buneary known as Rao walked with a friend, a Zweilous by the name of Black Rose. It was a place they would only be allowed to explore one last time together, for on the morrow, the little Buneary would find herself crowned a new Princess, and everyone knew that Princesses were not allowed to go outside their kingdoms, for their own protection. In a way, Rao was dreaming for that day, the day she would become what she'd always been groomed for… but in her heart she knew far differently. Maybe tomorrow, she and her friend would be exploring again, for her sister was older, and far more beloved than she. The choice for Princess was clear.

But for the moment, the two walked, talking about grand adventure and how they wanted to live their life. But even the talk was short lived. Suddenly, from out of the shadows, two dark forms appeared! Rao jumped before her shaking friend.

Rao: I will protect you, my friend!

Eyes appeared on the dark forms, focusing on the two as the creatures took shape. Soon enough, two Gastly were hovering above the adventurers.

Gastly 1 and 2: Helloo little Princess. Hehehehe…
Rao: *glances around* Are you speaking to me? Because I'm not the princess you're looking for… I'm… not even a Princess… *she looks to the ground, her feelings about her situation clear.*
Gastly 1: Aww… Look at the poor creature. The little pink bunny is far from happy… Hehehe…
Gastly 2: Yesss! But… we have a surprrrise for you! Hehe!
Rao: *Looks up at the two of them* A surprise? What kind of surprise?
Black Rose: Grrr… We'd better go, Rao… *thinks* I have a bad feeling about this.

For a time, the two Gastly milled about, speaking to each other in low tones. But then, they nodded, both looking at Rao.

Gastly 2: For one, we are going to introduce you to an amazing, wonderful person.

Suddenly, flares of black erupted from the ground as the earth below split and shook. The only thing louder than the earth shaking was the roaring, getting more powerful as it came ever closer. Soon enough, even the noise of flapping could be heard, gigantic wings pushing something closer and closer from below the ground until, like a creature bron from the depths itself, a massive black Charizard appeared inside the shadows.

Ghastly 1 and 2: We introduce to you Captain Zethorn!

As the earth closed below him, the giant Charizard leaned forward, studying the Buneary before him. With a disdainful sniff, he chuckled.

Zethorn: Is this a joke? The new Princess of the Justice Kingdom is this creature? I see so much darkness in your heart, little one. I feel so much pain…
Rao: You keep calling me the Princess. When will you understand that I'm not a Princess!? I never will be! My sister will… she's so kind and beautiful and everyone just loves her. That's not me.
Zethorn: But would you like to be Princess?
Rao: *stays silent, sitting down and closing her eyes as she thinks. Finally, she opens them.* It is my dream, but I know it won't happen.
Zethorn: That doesn't matter. I'm asking you if you would like to be Princess or not?
Rao: Well… Yes, but how is that possible?

With a movement of his claw, the Charizard summons a mirror before the young Buneary. Inside, the Pokemon is reflected, evolved, beautiful, and a Princess which everyone in the kingdom loved. It was everything she'd ever dreamed and imagined could be possible.

Zethorn: I am here for you now, little one. Do you wish to make a deal? I can make you a Princess. I can evolve you, make you strong and grant you the power to rule!
Rao: What's the price?
Zethorn: Hmm… For you, the price is to make me your private Captain and Protector. Also, you must bring me God's Orbs, something I can assist you in finding.
Rao: …to be evolved and made strong… To be a Princess and… one more thing?
Zethorn: No! *snorts* It is impossible to ask more! This is the best that can be given… but, if it is your wish, tell me anyway. *Thinks* What an ambitious creature...
Rao: I want someone. Actually… I… I love him. Prince Auratios.
Zethorn: Awwww! A child in love… so very sweet! He could be yours too, if you accept the deal.
Rao: *for the first time in a while, she looks to Black Rose* This is my chance, Rose! Everything we've talked about!
Black Rose: Rao, no We need to go, this-
Zethorn: *snarls* Let HER decide!
Black Rose: *shrinks back in fear*
Rao: *nods* I accept!
Zethorn: Wonderful! Now… all you need to do is sign this. *his eyes dance laughter*

On silent wings, a Crobat appeared from the dark forest, clutching a scroll that gave off it's own red aura. With little ceremony, the dark Charizard handed Rao a black feather to sign with.

Zethorn: Sign this, and all your dreams come true.
Rao: *signs the scroll.*
